So excited, I just listed a new pattern on etsy, ravelry, and craftsy! This one has a bit of a story behind it (if you want to read it, go here!). It comes in sizes newborn-adult, so be sure to check it out.
P.S. These make GREAT Christmas gifts :)

This cowl is such a quick, easy project that uses less than a skein of yarn, a large hook, and produces a lovely cowl! The stitch works really well with Caron Simply Soft yarn, making for a great scarf with a beautiful drape!
As with most of my cowl patterns, this can be easily adjusted longer/shorter, skinnier/wider. For this reason I have not included stitch counts.
300 yards Caron Simply Soft yarn (or anything with a nice drape)
L (8mm) crochet hook
1. Chain desired amount (even number). I did 124. Turn, 2dc in 4th ch from hook, *skip 1 chain, 2dc in next* across.
2-9. Ch 2, turn. *Skip 1 stitch, 2dc in next* across.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Sew together short sides, weave in ends.
This could also be made into a scarf by not joining the ends together at the very end.
Make and donate as many of these cowls as you wish, just please credit my blog if you sell them online.
Enjoy the pattern!
